The Widow and Eternal Lies

Red Jack’s Pirate Adventures 2

When the mysterious Hartleigh Institute hires ‘Red’ Jack Campbell to retrieve a man rumored to defy time, he expects lies, not legend. But with a seductive cult offering double the price, a deadly assassin hunting his head, and ‘Cutlass’ Liz demanding coin for her crippled ship, Jack does what any pirate would: take the job and play all sides.

In the shadows of Jamaica’s coast, while Lady Penelope investigates a 2,000-year-old native necklace, Jack finds a hidden ship, a reluctant immortal, and a party no one will forget—especially when the custard pies starts flying.

“Treasure, treachery, and temptation abound in this scandalous tale of longevity, lingerie, and lethal women.”

Excerpt:

The sun hangs low behind the Jamaican cliffs, bleeding orange across the water. The oars creak against iron locks as each pull cuts through calm surf. Jack’s skiff is quiet except for the occasional slap of brine against the hull. He follows the coastline by instinct, not map. There are no charts for what he’s looking for—just a few lines in Morgan’s journal.

Jack squints toward the shoreline. Towering limestone rises like a fortress. Here and there, the jungle fingers down in clumps—moss, vine, and shadow. A hawk cries overhead. He shifts his weight, angling the skiff toward a dark curve in the cliff. It's barely more than a shadow slit between rocks. He’s entered tighter slits than this!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If Scandal on the Seven Seas was a cannon blast of heat and chaos, The Widow and Eternal Lies is a dagger slipped between silk sheets—just as sharp, twice as dangerous, and every bit as intoxicating. Red Jack’s second adventure dives deeper into the intrigue, mystery, and myth of the Caribbean, introducing secret cults, sacred artifacts, and a whole new tangle of loyalties and lust. The seductions are hotter, the stakes higher, and the women—Liz, Penelope, and now Sarah—burn even brighter. From voodoo priesthoods to pirate treasure to an unforgettable food-fight-turned-threesome, every page is a delicious mix of chaos, passion, and power. (...)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What if the key to immortality was real? The Widow and Eternal Lies is everything I adore about Tiffany Noore’s storytelling—sultry, smart, and soaked in danger. Captain Red Jack is back, juggling scheming institutes, zealous cults, and a treasure hunt that might just rewrite history. But as always, it’s the women who steal the show: Liz is brash and brilliant, Penelope’s journey into ancestral identity is unexpectedly moving, and we meet sweet Sarah who gets her moment to shine (and sweat). The mix of myth, sex, and swordplay is as addictive as ever. (...)
