Star People

Prospector Finch's Harem Adventures 2

“Historic 1860s setting, fabulous women from across the globe, meets three star races.”

In this globe spanning harem adventure, Webster Finch is being hunted by star people. The belligerent Simmix, the hedonistic Alder, and now the unknown Nanken target his home, his business, and his companions. His life is a whirlwind of romance, danger, and galactic intrigue as he navigates a world where nothing is as it seems.

From the bustling streets of Constantinople, the royal palace in Jaipur, the sacred cavern of the Teshoni, the Imperial palace in Peking, rustic Bützow, or the vineyards of Burgundy, Finch relies on his wits and the love and support of his fabulous companions to stay one step ahead of those who would see him fall.

Whether he’s sailing aboard a luxury steamship, leaping from an airship with Gayatri’s ingenious wings, or surviving a crash with the Simmix airship, each step brings new challenges and new women in his life—like the brilliant Zhenyi, who may unearth the secrets of the stars.

Star People, the second thrilling installment of Prospector Finch’s Harem Adventures.

Finch’s determined march causes oncoming passersby to step aside. His uniform helps: midnight-blue, with two rows of shiny buttons and a high, round, gold-decorated collar. The belt of his mid-length jacket is a golden sash continuing down his side. Red and gold trim adorns his sleeves, matching the gold stripe on his trousers.

His boyish, honest face is shadowed by a recently acquired black Model 1858 Dress Hat, with a golden cord encircling the crown. An insignia of crossed laurel branches and a brass eagle badge pins the left side of the brim. Webster Finch is glad Shonali is with him.

The Teshoni warrior walking behind him also helps. She is a tall, striking woman with ebony hair braided into two tails, complementing her rich brown complexion and athletic, muscular build. She wears light-brown animal hide clothes adorned with colorful beads. The city doesn’t see someone like Shonali very often.

Charlotte, Tady-Lic, Adelheid, Lydia, and Elizaveta all insisted that he couldn’t go alone. More than that, Finch wanted Shonali to be an active part of this mission after she was banished from her tribe. They haven’t talked about it much; Shonali is not much of a talker, but it’s clear that her wound is still raw.

“Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Emperor Norton orders Presidents Lincoln and Davis to make peace!” The newspaper boy waves the latest edition of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Finch read the article at breakfast. It made him wonder if Norton’s abductors were a third group of star people on Earth or just angry Southerners trying to save their way of life. He has no reason to assume the Simmix or the Alder are involved. Charlotte and Tady-Lic started telling Lydia about them after Finch and Shonali left Borden Hall.

Crown Princess Lydia Norton, the emperor’s adopted daughter, had nowhere else to turn when she couldn’t find her foster father in his usual haunts. She’ll be learning about Finch’s clashes with the Simmix and the Alder now.

So, who are Norton’s abductors?

“Commander, the situation is unchanged: two armed men and a woman with Norton,” Tady-Lic 12♥ informs the man she has imprinted on, through their earpieces. Finch is now her commander and her lover. Of course, she wanted to volunteer to join him on the mission, but the tall blonde fembot has too many system errors blinking in her console. She has to repair those soon but is worried about what will happen to Finch if she does.

For this mission, Tady-Lic opted to use her surveillance skills instead. Her analysis of the weapons confirms that they are neither Simmix nor Alder, nor terrestrial. The odds of three star people being on Earth at the same time are almost immeasurable. Against these odds, her adorable commander wants to try to resolve the situation peacefully.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amid galas, gunfire, and alien conspiracies, Noore keeps the steam flowing and the world-building razor sharp. Every encounter—whether it’s Queen Şah moaning beneath Finch in Constantinople or Charlotte riding him in a newly decorated vineyard bed—sizzles with sensuality and meaning. These aren’t one-note conquests. They’re layered, lived-in, and unforgettable. The harem isn’t just growing—it’s evolving, with new roles, titles, and responsibilities that add gravitas to every kiss and command
Across the globe—San Francisco, France, Turkeye, China, Japan, Russia—thirteen absolutely fabulous women juggle three alien races, secret wars, bio-pulping, and nuclear power plants. I had to catch my breath every few chapters at the sheer *punch* J. Tiffany Noore packs into one novel. I’ve read trilogies where less happens than in Star People. (...)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Okay, so I’ve been following Finch since that first adventure when he was just a down-on-his-luck prospector who stumbled across aliens. But this second book? ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! The way J. Tiffany Noore weaves together all these star people plots—the Simmix, the Alder, and now the Nanken—is just masterful. And the action sequences? When Shonali saved Empress Dowager Cixi with just her bow and a handful of random objects? Pure awesomeness. And that scene where they shot fireworks at the Simmix ship to save Finch? I was literally on the edge of my seat!
And let’s be honest—what we’re all really here for is the HAREM. Finch now has THREE WIVES (Charlotte, Gayatri, and Adelheid) and counting... plus a crew of amazing companions. The steamiest parts? That threesome with Gayatri and Adelheid—whew! 🔥 I needed a fan and a cold drink after that one. And Zhenyi? Her journey from timid concubine to confident astronomer who embraces herself? Absolutely perfect. What makes Finch so special is how he sees what makes each woman extraordinary—and helps her thrive while, you know, also enjoying their company (in every way!). 😉 (...)
